BEFORE YOU SIGN UP…

PAL sports seasons run 7/8 weeks long - 5/6wks of regular season play and 2 weeks of playoffs. Please sign up if your availability allows for you to be a consistent, positive adult role-model to our student-athletes. 

ANY ASSISTANT COACH MUST ALSO COMPLETE OKCPS BACKGROUND CHECK. No person is allowed to interact with young people, including at practices and on the sidelines at games, unless approved by OKCPAL. 

STIPEND AMOUNTS

Stipends will be paid out by OKC Police Athletic League.

Athletic Director: $1500/ Year ( $500/ Season)

Soccer: $1000/ Season or $600/$400 w/ Assistant

Futsal: $600/Season or $400/$200 w/Assistant

Basketball: $1000/ Season or $600/$400 w/ Assistant

Football: $1000/ Season or $600/$400 w/ Assistant

Volleyball: $1000/ Season or $600/$400 w/ Assistant

Cheer: $600/Season or $400/$200 w/Assistant

Cross Country: $600/Season or $400/$200 w/Assistant

Baseball: $1000/ Season or $600/$400 w/ Assistant

Softball: $1000/ Season or $600/$400 w/ Assistant

COACHES STIPEND POLICIES & PROCEDURES

  • To be eligible to receive a coaches' stipend, individuals must meet the following criteria by the deadlines stated below per TANF Grant Requirements

    - Must be officially designated as a coach by PAL.

    - Must have completed all necessary paperwork, including current W9, background checks and necessary certifications. 

    - Must have attended and undergone the relevant coaches clinics required by PAL. This is mandatory if you want to be paid the stipend. For those that don’t give a good reason or don’t show you will simply be a volunteer. (Contact the program director ahead of time to discuss your options)
